Application for Pensions
The Mexican Institute for Social Security (IMSS) approves the use of the e.signature from its servants and employees to do these paper works, last may 10 entered into force two agreements issued by its Technical Council.
ACDO.AS2.HCT.280218/42.P.DPES and its single annex, related to the authorization for the Advanced Electronic Signature (e.siganture) use, whose digital certificate is issued by SAT, in administrative acts in the inherent procedures to the process of granting the money benefits, foreseen in the Social Security Law, made by the IMSS public servants.
ACDO.AS1.HCT.280218/43.P.DPES, Agrees. First.- Authorize within the IMSS digital strategy, the development and use of the pensions component known as “My Digital Pension”. The purpose of this agreement is to authorize the development and use of the pensions component known as My Digital Pension, which considers the following:
- The development of digital services that include the comparison of personal data registered in the Institute against the records from the Administrators of Retirement Saving Funds (Afore).
- The development of an application where the insured:
Prior to submitting its pension application procedure, could know its enrolling and personal data as well as those of its beneficiaries registered before the Institute.
Knows the estimated calculation of its pension, where it’s considered the information of quote weeks acknowledged by the Social Security, the base salary of the contribution registered with said Institute, the pension kind and requested regime. With that, the insured will be certain about the data that in its case will be taken into account to grant it its pension.
On the other hand, the beneficiaries of the insured or pensioner could know the personal data and the estimated calculation of the pensions for widowhood, orphanhood or ancestry, depending on the case.
They can also register the information needed to modify their data; in the case they were wrong. Based on this information they can start their Pension request procedure and given the case the update of their personal data, at the windows of Economic Benefits of the Institute.
It is foreseen that in a first stage the application only considers the information related to the insured for pensions by old age dismissal and old-age, and afterward, the one related to pensions for labor risks (including total indemnities), disablement, retiring, widowhood, orphanhood, and ancestry.
On its hand, the IMSS’s Economic Benefits services will use the application to manage the information inherent to the granting procedure of pensions and life annuity, in all its modalities, in accordance with the releases that are made during the transition for the implementation of this new application and the disuse of the Pension Processing System for the management of the pension application process.
Likewise, through this instruments, it is authorized to the competent public servants to electronically subscribe (with their e.signature) the actions and resolutions of the administrative procedure inherent to the pensions request procedure; as well as the digital stamp issued by SAT to legalize the institutional documents issued for the use of this application.
