Economic package for 2021.

It should be mentioned quickly that the economic package for 2021, is the budget allows to know the priorities of government spending. It is important that the resources are used to meet the main needs and that the cuts are not in the areas where we hurt the citizens the most. The budget is the first link to align the interests of the population with those of the authorities.

On September 8 of this year, was presented by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit the economic package for 2021, said package is delivered to the Chamber of Deputies for analysis and approval, and although this package is not yet approved, there are some points to be taken into account, among the most relevant we find:

Income Tax Act (ISR).

• Authorized donators who obtain most of their income (more than 50%) from activities NOT RELATED TO THEIR SOCIAL OBJECT, will lose their authorization, this in order to avoid some kind of profit.

Law on Value Added Tax (VAT).

• Professional medical services provided by natural persons through private care or charitable institutions are also EXEMPT FROM TAX AS LONG AS THEY MEET CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS.
• Temporary blocking of access by the digital service provider due to failure to comply with an obligation (3 months in a row).
• Brokering services for the disposal of used movable property.

Excise Duty on Goods and Services (IEPS) Act.

• One of the most important modifications in this area is the implementation of complementary quotas for fuels AS THEY DIRECTLY AFFECT PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.

Federation Tax Code (CFF).

• The deadlines for the cancellation and temporary restriction of digital stamp certificates are amended.
• Do not give refunds of balances in favor of taxpayers who are NOT LOCATED AT THEIR TAX DOMICILE.
• There will be an obligation to issue a CFDI for the receipt of advances or for partial or deferred payments.
• Keep the accounting media for a longer period of time for certain accounts.
