SAT Promises to Return Balance in Favor in 3 Days
As part of the actions that the Attorney General’s Office for the Defense of the Taxpayer (PRODECON) carries out to encourage the use of its services remotely (online chats, e-mail and telephone), and to decrease the assistance of taxpayers to the offices, As part of the measures to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, the campaign “DECLARE AT HOME” is launched, in connection with the health emergency and in support of the taxpayers’ economy, the Tax Administration Service (SAT), implemented mechanisms to return within 3 days the balance in favor, since unlike last year the deadline to return was 5 days.
Likewise, and for the benefit of the taxpayer PRODECON, he suggests to the SAT the following:
· Extend the deadline provided for in regulation 2.3.2 of the Miscellaneous Tax Resolution for 2020 to request the return of natural persons from the ISR through the Automatic Return System for the entire fiscal year 2020.
· Defer until 31 July 2020 the submission of interim payments, both of legal persons and of natural persons, for the months of March, April and May 2020.
· To grant the option for legal entities to pay the tax that is due to them in the annual declaration up to 6 partialities, without requiring authorization and without the obligation to guarantee the tax interest, facility currently granted in terms of Miscellaneous Fiscal Resolution 2020, exclusively to natural persons.
