Temporary Closure of Facilities
Yesterday March 30th, was released the AGREEMENT by which the General Health Council determines extraordinary actions in the field of general health, for the whole national territory for the purpose of carrying out all the actions necessary to prevent, control and combat the existence and transmission of the SARS-virusCov2, COVID-19, declared as a public health emergency of international importance by the World Health Organization.
Here is a short excerpt from the Agreement referred to in the preceding paragraph:
“That on 30 January 2020, the Emergency Committee, convened by the Director-General of the World Health Organization under the International Health Regulations, declares a public health emergency of international importance;
(…)
That article 4, paragraph II, of the General Health Act provides that the General Health Council is a health authority;
(…)
That the plenary of the General Health Council, in order to address the health emergency, which has become a national security problem, in accordance with its powers, agreed to issue the following
AGREEMENT
(…)
THIRD. The Ministry of Health shall combat the epidemic and, to this end, as it deems appropriate, shall establish immediately, with the participation of any authority of the three Orders of Government required, in the affected regions throughout the national territory, the following executive actions:

X. Non-essential services in the social and private sectors must immediately adopt forms of teleworking, telework or the like, without the activities of their workers involving a face-to-face event.
In summary of the conference of the authorities of yesterday at 19 hours of the center of the contry, we have the following:
1. Immediate suspension is ordered until 30 April of non-substantive activities (health sector, public safety, and activities essential continue to the functioning of the economy and government);
2. Congregations of no more than 50 persons may be held (formerly 100);
3. Home shelter until 30 April;
4. The compulsory measure of protection for older adults is reduced to over 60 years of age, as well as vulnerable population;
5. From 30 April, the authorities should dictate a gradual return to activities; and
6. Censuses and surveys are suspended.
Accordingly, the Firm has taken the decision to temporarily close its facilities for the period from 30 March to 30 April of the current year.
